Holy crap, looking at DD-WRT stats, and our house apparently uses several gigabytes A DAY. o_o
-
Seems that my webserver averages just under 3GB a day. I think most of that traffic is from StatusNet. ;)
-
@jpope really? my instance uses around 60 - 100mb a day. You do have more followers though
-
I might add that I run my Status.net instance on a VPS, so it doesn't touch my local network at all.
-
In fact, I have no public facing servers at all at home.
-
i imagine statusnet does use quite a bit of bandwidth.
-
@windigo Is it running at home now and you'll be moving it up to your VPS? Because that it was I have planned. Ok, I'll let you go first. :P
-
@Windigo you gotta give up that P0RN !!!
-
Nope, it started on the VPS - it's never been internal.
-
You know, I do have a roommate; you might not be too far off. :)
-
@windigo Ah, ok. I'm hoping all I have to do is move up my statusnet folder and point GMN to the VPS.
-
Well, there's the whole database part - you have to move that as well, or else you'll just have a shiny new Status.net instance. :)
-
break out the UV light ... that will soon tell you !!! O_o
-
@windigo Oh... right! (I'm not doing this soon. Its in the planning stages.)
-
Strange, vk7hse I only see some of your dents on identica. For instance, I didn't know who @windigo was talking to here, until I went on GMN
-
must be that dodgy internet you have there! :-P
