   NFS seems to be hosing my wireless somehow when I'm transferring large files, whether the transfer is over wireless or not...

     What do you mean by 'large'? I shift stuff to NFS shares over WiFi without problems, but I'm not sure I've done really large files.

     I mount with "-rw,hard,intr,bg,rsize=8192,wsize=8192" via autofs and it seems to work pretty well.
