Wow, isn't #OpenStack a bit "over engineered" at the moment? What is you need to "draft" at the moment, exactly? Is the call open to all?

I think PTO is a fine TLA. !Conservancy employees have 4 weeks of it, which includes all types together. Easier & more flexible!

I wish PTO didn't expire, but with my "org officer" hat on, I get why that's tough: it can accrue an expense indefinitely. No easy solution.

Do you think there's any point attempting a new 501(c)3 for FOSS at the moment? People near me are opting for 501(c)6 because of IRS delays.

@webmink, AFAIK,there are delays for (c)(6)'s as well. IIRC, pretty much all software-related IRS status applications are delayed currently.

@webmink, also, AFAIK, ∄ any (c)(6) fiscal sponsors, ∴ I'd suggest any project 1st apply to (c)(3) fiscal sponsors like #SPI & !Conservancy.
