Considering switching to #sparkleshare
-
You might also consider #bagmify, @yamatt‘s take on the basic idea of #sparkleshare (minus the Mono dependency): http://ur1.ca/5dzm5
-
Ah, makes sense. (Though I suspect it wouldn’t be too hard for someone w/ Android experience to make a bagmify-friendly Android sync app.)
-
(Hell, I’d do it myself if I had the first clue about how to make an Android app that worked properly.)
-
But since there isn’t anything like that, makes sense that you’d go with #sparkleshare, yeah. :)
-
Maybe @diablomarcus should look at !owncloud. I use WebDEV File Manager on my phone to access my owncloud instance.
-
@psquid yeah, me too. I’ve been thinking of getting into it just for these little sorts of projects
-
Ah, yeah, that’s a pretty decent possibility too.
-
@diablomarcus it’s shockingly easy to install, but I haven’t been able to get the music plugin to work.
-
@kevingranade Out of curiousity, do you have mp3info installed? Because I couldn’t get it to work wit…
-
@kevingranade hmm, okay. I definitely need to explore more
-
@diablomarcus And on the flipside of that, I’ve got 12000+ tracks loaded in mine and use the JustPlayer android app to listen.
-
@jpope I do, but also my browsers have an issue with it in general, even the demo instance.
-
Hmm. Try uninstalling mp3info and see if it helps. And which browsers have you tried?
