It is rough around the edges, but I like where #pumpio is going. Federation features are superior to #statusnet.

@douglasawh @evan I think "canonical instance" has been the main problem, both with #StatusNet and #Diaspora. #Federation should be central.

to be fair: #spammers can game any system/software over time, e.g. I've seen many #statusnet instances in #French language running by+with
